MK Guide Recommends
Located in the southern section of Nagai Park, Nagai Botanical Garden offers a curated landscape of over 1,000 plant species arranged around lawns, ponds, and shaded walkways. Since its opening in 1974, the garden has served as both a recreational retreat and an educational facility. Visitors follow looped paths through zones dedicated to roses, camellias, irises, and medicinal plants, with seasonal highlights drawing local families and amateur photographers year-round. Interpretive signage and interactive exhibits support botanical learning, while birdwatching areas and forest tracts introduce an ecological dimension to the experience. Admission is charged for adults, while children through junior high school enter free.
