The museum's collection focuses on modern and contemporary Japanese paintings, featuring works by renowned artists such as Yokoyama Taikan, Kawabata Gyokusho, and Hirayama Ikuo. Notably, the museum houses exquisite bijin-ga (portraits of beautiful women) by artists like Kamisaka Sekka, Kaburaki Kiyokata, and Ito Shinsui. In addition to its permanent collection, the museum organizes seasonal exhibitions and educational programs to promote Japanese art.
