Established over 1,200 years ago, Yuzuruha Shrine is nestled in the Mikage area of Kobe and is dedicated to Kumano Okami, with the Yatagarasu—a mythical three-legged crow—as its symbol. This emblem is also associated with the Japan Football Association, making the shrine a popular destination for soccer enthusiasts seeking blessings for victory. The shrine gained additional prominence after renowned figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu visited to pray for success, leading many fans to follow in his footsteps. The serene grounds feature ancient trees, including a 450-year-old camphor tree, offering visitors a tranquil environment for reflection and prayer.
