Marine World Uminonakamichi, established in 1989 and renovated in 2017, is an aquarium that exhibits about 350 species and 30,000 organisms under the theme of "Kyushu's Sea". The aquarium's main tank is a huge, seven-meter-deep pool filled with various marine life, including over 120 sharks of 20 different varieties. Visitors can enjoy interactive shows, including dolphin and sea lion performances, as well as an underwater feeding show where divers feed the fish inside the massive tank.
